A carbon fiber panel is made by layering carbon fiber prepreg. First, a mold is made based on the dimensions of the panel. It's usually divided into two sections: one for the base and one for the top. The prepreg is cut based on the panel's dimensions. The number of layers is calculated based on the panel's thickness, and the layup angle is designed accordingly. Typically, the layup angles are 0° and 90°, but for higher requirements, angles like ±45° can be used, depending on the specific carbon fiber product. The prepreg is then placed in the mold and fed into a hot press for curing. The combination of temperature, pressure, and time allows the panel to solidify and form.

This completes the production of the carbon fiber panel. The resulting panel will have irregular edges, requiring machining to meet the customer's desired dimensions. Therefore, a dimensional allowance of approximately 0.3mm is typically applied to facilitate subsequent machining and painting.
Carbon Fiber Sheets offer high strength and light weight, with a density of only 1.7g/cm³ and a strength of up to 3500MPa. They are considered a representative example of high-performance composite materials. They also possess excellent bending and impact resistance.
