3. Advantages of Carbon Fiber Sheets

The advantages of carbon fiber sheets are as follows:

1) Carbon fiber materials exhibit superior tensile strength, flexural strength, shear strength, and stiffness compared to most structural materials.


2) Carbon fiber sheets are chemically stable, resist deterioration and rust, and are acid, alkali, and oxidation-resistant, resulting in a long service life.


3) Carbon fiber has a very low density of approximately 1.7 g/cm³. Its light weight and high strength are its most significant advantages. For a given volume, it is three-quarters lighter than steel. 


4) Carbon fiber is a material manufactured in ultra-high-temperature environments, capable of withstanding temperatures of approximately 2500°C. In actual applications, carbon fiber is fused with epoxy resin to form a carbon fiber composite material, which can withstand temperatures around 250°C. Its low coefficient of thermal expansion means it rarely deforms with changes in operating temperature, resulting in relatively stable dimensions.
